Candy and Coin Boxes

We partner with local businesses to raise funds for programs aimed at people, especially children, with disabilities. Candy and coin boxes are placed in our partners' retail locations. Our members service the boxes, replacing candy and collecting, counting, and turning in the spare change donated by customers.

75% of the funds collected are sent to the Civitan International Research Center in Birmingham, Alabama, where they are used in research on disability issues.

25% of the funds remain with the Auburn Civitans, who use them in programs for people, especially children, with disabilities.
