Another Successful Turkey/Ham Smoking

November 2011

Our annual Thanksgiving turkey and ham smoking project raised funds to support our service projects and charities.

The turkeys and hams were prepared and smoked at the Lee County Fairgrounds the weekend of Nov. 19-20. Most customers picked theirs up at the Barbecue House in Auburn.

Lynn Sylvester – Civitan of the Year

September 2011

Lynn Sylvester was presented the Civitan of the Year award by Bryan Chin at the annual Civitan Banquet on September 16. The award is presented to a member each year, elected by the club membership.

Diane Preston – Citizen of the Year

September 2011

At the annual Civitan Banquet on Sept. 16, Diane Preston received the Citizen of the Year award. The Award is presented each year to recognize a local person (or people) who have made an important civic contribution to the Auburn community. The winners are selected by a vote of the Club membership.
